What a delight today, to tune in to Muck Rack and find Jessica Lawler‘s Professional Development column article featuring one of my favorite favorite Public Relations Professionals in the world the article titled “Solo superwoman: How Karen Swim runs a 7,000 person strong community of solo PR pros“.

When working at Sun Microsystems, over a decade ago, we were weathering a huge turbulent climate. Sun Microsystems, as many other companies, began layoffs and reductions in force, as necessary but difficult, business rebalancing after the World Trade Center Bombings happened 09.11.01. They were tough times, and terror had gripped our world. In this darkness, and fear, I started a Professional Jobs N Career Success Network to help encourage laid off professionals world wide to find new jobs and career success.
